Aerobic Knitting
So, you are asking, just what is Aerobic Knitting?
Well, with all the new exercise classes at the Manor, I thought it made sense to follow the trend by calling it Aerobic Knitting. Think about it--those fingers moving for hours as you watch movies on Saturdays, or ride in the van--that's a lot of exercise.
One more reason: Knitting is a well known weight-loss technique, at least in my family.
Who is going to eat cookies or cake while working with a luscious yarn? Ick. When I needed to lose weight, I would knit in bed, because that's when I was most vulnerable to over-eating the wrong kinds of food.
Any questions?
Please find me, Jeanne, in the dining room, or knock on my door. #208. I don't mind.
Oh, please bring along a cup of tea or coffee to warm your fingers for the task.

The copy about the knitting has an error I am sure you would not make.
"They had a lilting ditto on radio and TV (black & white, chuckle…), “Let your fingers do the walking.”
Merriam-Webster says "ditty" would work better than "ditto" in this case.
Hope you can get back to your room and that your knitting bag will be welcoming you.
