More evidence in the news--this time a report from CBS about a new study that proves the transplants work better than antibiotics in curing the life-threatening infection.
Earlier evidence was anecdotal, but this latest report is the results of a clinical trial, published in the New England Journal of Medicine yesterday.

I'm happy to report that my C. diff. went away and stayed away after the transplant--pushing that part of my medical history back into the bad dream category.

Thank you so much for writing about your experience with the transplant. My mother suffered terribly with c.diff for 8 months until I was able to convince her to push her doctor for a transplant. Thanks to you, I could say I knew someone who'd undergone it and been cured. Mom had her transplant in October and has been symptom-free ever since!
