This e-mail went out a bit earlier today to friends in Seattle whom I thought might be able to help me get my glasses fixed today or tomorrow. Ever since I was hauled out of Fred Lind Manor against my will (and against common sense, I might add) I have been flying blind--unable to wear my glasses because the frames are so badly bent.
Most of you--friends, family, readers, and fellow cancer bloggers--probably did not realize that I have been legally blind since elementary school--third or fourth grade--anyway.
Hi folks--you may or may not know that my wire-frame glasses were broken on the day I was brought into the Harborview ER. They were bent out of usable shape by a Harborview staff member, in fact. And I have been flying legally blind ever since, even in court.
E-mail is the best way to contact me, or by phone through Younger Son. However, he does not always pick up his phone. Linda also knows how to find me, having been here yesterday, but she can't do this for me today. I will CC her.
I will not be returning home to Fred Lind Manor today--perhaps tomorrow. Details to come.
